Technique: these works are constructed on wooden panels. The back ground is usually
painted in acrylic, gold powder or lined with vintage materials such as linen, old fabrics,
maps, engravings, etc…
The animals, often portrayed in natural size, are sculpted in high relief and in some
works part of the body (usually a tail, a paw or the head) protrude from the background.
The fur is built up with a mosaic of cotton fringes. |
